    Welcome.

    using freebmd.org.uk

    an Esme E A Sargent married one Gerald T Bond in the third quarter of 1949 in the district of Chatham, Kent.

    You can order their marriage certificate via gro.gov.uk

    the info you need to give them is Volume 5b page 630, Q3 1949. they have a downloadable form on their website.

    The listing gives her name as Sargant or Plascott, so I wonder if she was a widower.

    Google RAF Service record veterans

    http://www.veterans-uk.info/service_records/raf.html

    You will likely need many more certifictes to prove that you are the down the line next of kin, or you can try paying them just for the abrievated service record, details are on the website above.
