Default Walrus of 751 Sqn FAA, 2 October 1941

    Hello,

On 2 October 1941, T/Sub Lt (A) Duncan E. Smith RNVR and Act/Leading Airman Harry B Anderson were killed when their Walrus of 751 Squadron crashed and sank in River Tay.

I would like to know some more details of this loss, especially the Walrus serial and a more precise crash location.

    Thanks in advance

    Laurent

Laurent - Serial of Walrus was W2753 - swung on take off and sank in River Tay.
Air Britain Fleet Air Arm Aircraft 1939-1945 by Sturtivant and Burrow has no other details.
