    Default F/O B.A. Bebarfald (NZ414953) - KIA 21/09/1944 - 190 Squadron

    Can anyone provide me with a/c and crew listing for the above noted pilot. This airmen was involved in a minor mishap at No.34 OTU, Pennfield Ridge 9 March 1943.

    Took off 1029, for supply dropping, Arnhem. Aircraft broke up after fighter attacks and crashed at Herveld, 11km NW of Nijmegen, Holland.

    F/Sgt (Bombaimer) Garnet A. PHILLIPS - RAAF 426677;
    F/Lt (WOp/Ag) L.N. MUNRO - RCAF J/11617 - evader/returned 25-9-1944);
    W/O (Ag) G. MORRIS - RAAF - evader/returned 25-9-1944);
    Driver (Despatcher) HUGHES, - (no initials and probably T/10696255) - 253 Air Comp Coy RASC - evader, and
    Driver (Despatcher) George E. JONES - T/170974 - 253 Air Comp Coy RASC - injured and died of wounds 22--9-1944.
