    Default F/O R.H.J TOZER KIA 27/9/1943 612 Sqn Runnymede Mem

    Hi,

    I'm trying to discover the circumstances of F/O R.H.J TOZER death, he was a pilot with 612 Sqn Wellingtons. KIA 27/9/1943 commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial.

    Also I died 27/9/1943 from 612 Sqn SGT C.F PAISH and F/S G.V BARTLE RCAF part of the same crew ?

    Failed to return. Probably down in position 49 27 N 006 54 W. All are commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial.

    Also some info you might find of interest.

    I have been conducting a little research into some Coastal Command casualties, one of them is listed in your Coastal Command Losses P131 19/6/41 119 Sqn
    P/O G H Bowes
    I have been corresponding with the CWGC and they have now made changes to their database to show Bowes rank as Flight Lieutenant.

    Also see P160 the loss of Beaufort 86 Sqn I believe there is an additional crew member on board 1337380 AC2 I .TANKEL 30/10/41 Runnymede Mem. The CWGC have just added 86 Squadron details to his database entry. Also see
