I am trying to find out if a file exists at the NA , concerning Emergency Landing strips in Uk during ww2.

I am trying to find out about these strips in the location of the Wartime County Of Radnorshire , THE 3 Vol set of books by Ivor Jones lists some but i wondered if a file would exist at the NA, and information would be most welcome
    if anyone can help

I don't think such a file exists. There are many ELGs mentioned in various books and are probably gleaned from various ORBs. I am not sure of the definition of ELG in the early war period as I suspect scatter fields may also come under this heading. Since it is likely a lot were allocated and not used ORBs might be the best source. It is one of those aspects that I keep thinking about listing as I come across them but always lose the list and forget the ones already noted.
