    Hello Christian,Martynb
I am sure Errol will fill you in later but here is something from his Vol2 of 'For Your Tomorrow' to keep you going.

62 OTU RAF Unswlorth, Durham. Friday 19 February 1943 18 Group.

    Trazining Flight.
Anson I L7908 Collided head on at 5'000 feet with another of the units Anson I's (DJ686) at 0907 hours. Both machines crashed 3 miles NE of the airfield Killing the four on board L7908 and one or more in DS680. The pilot of the former and two RAF Sgts are buried in Castletown on the NW outskirts of Sunderland.

Sgt. Alistar Cameron DUNLOP NZ411707 Age 23 404 hours flying time (56 solo on Anson)

    Hope this helps

    Christian,

Can add only that the other pilot was 1488428 Sgt Charles Davidson, RAFVR.

I have the A.M.Form 1180 for this crash,it is not known which crew were in each aircraft but the full list of aircrew for both Ansons is below.

    Sgt Charles Davidson
    Sgt Ian Duncan McDonald
    Sgt Donald Kenneth Upperton
    Sgt Frank Wickenden
