    Default F/Lt J R Hulley DFC, 10 Sqn

I am researching my wife's family tree and the late John Richmond Hulley who was her cousin. He flew with 10 Sqn Bomber Command from RAF Melbourne, Yorkshire in 1943.

He was an Observer and was commisioned (from Sgt) in August 1943, and awarded the DFC in November 1943.
We would be grateful for any information regarding him or his fellow crew members during WWII.

Quite some time ago I did see reference to an event in May 1943 and the possibilty of his aircraft, Halifax ZA-R, destroying a Gereman night fighter whilst returning from an operation. I would be more than grateful if anybody could shed light on this, or offer advice on how to further investigate it.

I spotted it on a website I can no longer find due to losing all my bookmarks when my previous computer expired.

    Many thanks.

    Thanks Pavel.

I am already aware of that link. The link I cannot now find was a forum. The incident was mentioned in a post to the forum. It did go into a little more detail, giving the date of the operation and also naming the aircrew of the Halifax.

    Regards.
