Hi,
I'm just posting this here in case anyone is interested.
An Italian newsreel from January 1940, posted on youtube, shows "Cobber" Kain at the site of a downed Do-17 (presumably one of the two he shot down in November 1939):

From the state of the wreckage and the location, I would guess that it is the scene of the crash of the Do-17P brought down by Kain on 23/11/1939 near Conflans. Michael Burn's fantastic biography, "Cobber Kain" has a description and a photo from his first victory on 8/11/1939, which appears to have distintergrated and buried itself into the ground on a town street after vertically diving in. That isn't the case with the wreckage in this newsreel.
I hadn't seen the footage before, hence why I thought others may be interested.
Cheers
Rod
