Default Battle crash at 3 BGS on 27 June 1941

    Hello,

On 27 June 1941 took place the first fatal aircraft accident for NO. 3 BOMBING AND GUNNERY SCHOOL when a Fairey Battle crashed near the Macdonald airport, Manitoba. The pilot and student were both killed.

I would like to have the serial of the aircraft and the names of the crew. Any more details on the accident will be welcome too.

    Thanks in advance

    Laurent

    Thanks Hugh,

I understand why I missed it on the RCAF website: the date of loss is wrongly set as 27 June 1943 for 1806.
