    Default PLE abbreviation

    Hi all,

I would like to asj if anybody could give me the exact phrase for this abbreviation.
I kbow that it means the point when the patrolling plane must take course to base to get there.

    Default

    Prudent Limit of Endurance.

The max range of an aircraft before it must set course for return to base taking account of fuel reserve, allowance for weather and any reasonable defence maneouvres.
