I bought the log book so will hopefully find out more about his ops when I see it. I know he started ops in April 1942 but was hoping to find out more about his other ops before I receive it.

I knew I'd seen that unusual name before, the 18 Sqdn battle order for Operation Millennium, 30.05.1942 lists Flt/Sgt Knickerbocker as the pilot of Blenheim "C" serial T2331. Hope this bit of info is useful to you.

Talking about unusal names, one of the Wop/Ag's on the same battle order is a Flt/Sgt Blackadder...

Hello,

H.G. MALCOLM's VC is on display at the I.W.M. in London, in the Lord Ashcroft gallery/collection, in the top floor of the museum. I've just seen it this afternoon. A very impressive collection of VCs !!!

I realise that this thread is a little old but I was reminded of it when watching todays celebrations from Australia. I am one of Wray Eller's sons and he is relatively well and living in Winchester. He would love to see any of his old chums if they were in the area. I wonder who 'Motherbird' is :)? as she seems to know him well!
