Default BCATP Goderich #12 EFTS & Port Albert #31 ANS Casualties

I'm looking for information on the accidental deaths of two airmen stationed at the Port Albert #31ANS...

    1. Sqn/Ldr. Edward Dan. Chantler. He was 25 yrs. and is believed to have been killed on Jan. 24, 1942.

    2. P/O William Woodmason, DFC. He was 28 yrs. and was reported killed on Apr. 25, 1942.

Neither death is reported in the local papers or history book of Port Albert but their names appear on wood tablets at the back of St. George's Anglican Church in Goderich as airment who were killed while stationed at the Port Albert base. Any help would be great.

    Thanks.

    David,

Both men were posted missing while delivering aircraft to the UK.
Chantler was the navigator of Hudson AM932 which was lost after leaving Gander and Woodmason was navigating USAAF B-24 41-1119, also lost out of Gander.
