Default Beachy Head 28 Mar 1943

From the War Diary of Beachy Head Ranges
    28th March 1943.
"A wonderful day again and both Belle Toute and Michel Dean Ranges got away to an early start - the first round about 0810 hrs. but shortly after 0900 hrs we were held up for half an hour as a plane, a Typhoon, was hit by something out in front of our range: it turned out that it was hit by another of our planes some distance out and we were allowed to resume firing. "
    Anyone know more?
    Thanks Pete

If it was a Typhoon then both aircraft returned as Cat A or B.

However Spitfire EE725 was abandoned after engine cut 15 miles south of Beachy Head, Sussex on this day.
