    Hello Phill,

    Pretty slick service, Thanks.

AUS404573 F/Sgt (Pilot) Norman Leslie CRAWFORD RAAF, was involved in an incident at "Hove" strip, Burma on 28-3-1943, full details unknown. Looks as if HV420 was damaged enough to be written-off later on.

Crawford had claimed 0.5 + 0.33:0:1 (Ki 48s of 8th and 34th Sentais) on 27-3-1943, so there might be some connection with this action (see: Air War for Burma/Shores.pp.74-5). Those Other Eagles/Shores pp.130-1, confirms Crawford was flying HV420 around this time, as he had other claims on 5-3-1943 using this aircraft.
