    Default 430206 - Unaccounted airmen - 6-2-1943

    What were the places of death registration for:

    A - Died on active service:
    S/Ldr Hugh de Montmorency MIDDLETON - 28134.

    B - Not found in Flight archives:
    F/O (Pilot) Alan M. PEAKE - 122230 - 63 Sqn (flying Mustangs from Odiham, Hampshire).
    Can't find a 63 Sqn loss in my Mustang files, however 613 Sqn - flying Mustangs from Ouston - Northumberland, lost AG632 (flew in high ground Woolston Hill, Pyecombe, Sussex).

    C - Also looking for GRO-listing of:
    F/O Phillip J.N. STANCLIFFE - 129947 - KiA - buried La Réunion War Cem., Bejaia, Algeria, and
    AC1 Harold J. MANN - 1234015 - DOAS - buried Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

    Peake,30, registered at Cuckfield,Sussex, the right area for Pycombe

    F/O A. M. Peake is listed KIA on page 405. April 15 '43 magazine.

    Scanned as F/O. A. M. Peakc; it mucked up the 'e'.

    Default Unaccounted airmen 6-2-43

    MIDDLETON, Hugh De Montmorency

    Died in the SSQ at RAF Ashbourne.
    Cause of death: Heart failure due to brain haemorrhage, itself caused by very high blood pressure.

    Killed in an automobile accident. Father MAW Mann, London 12, England
