    Can anyone enlighten me to what does 'SA.2. patrol' mean?

    Standard Area No.2

    A fixed area track patrol designed to locate enemy shipping transit through the North Sea to the Atlantic.

    Instigated in 1939 and subsequently modified in April/May/June 1940 due to obvious developments.
