    Distinguished Flying Cross.
    Acting Squadron Leader Peter Harry HUMPHREYS
    (84961), Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve,
    No. 92 Squadron.
    This officer has commanded his squadron since May, 1943, and has led it with great skill and determination. During this period the squadron has destroyed at least 8 enemy aircraft, and Squadron Leader Humphreys -has destroyed 2 of these, assisted in the destruction of another and damaged 4. more. This officer is a resourceful pilot whose example has been a great inspiration to others.

    Dennis,

    I did search the LG but only came up with the award as a listing along with many others - no citation. What is the secret to finding the citations?

    Just search for hsi full name, you must have found adiffernet list, there are not two different listing for DFC's. Unless there are two Peter Harry Humpries. Paste teh link to the page you found or copy the text.

    Search using the exact phrase option, the second search box. Theres no secret in this case
