have you searched the London Gazzete for Stokes? and the others for that matter also.

Search the LG for P. W. Stokes and you will find his serial number and from that you will find his name and a DFC award while with 23 Squadron in 1942.

Similarly, search for M. G. McManus, you will find one name with a DFM award and his officer serial number 157950.

Now that number does not turn up again due to scanning errors so I'll give you this one, searching for 157949 gives the name ahead of his and reveals him to have been commishioned as

    995674 Martin Gerard McMANUS, D.F.M.
    (157950), 3ist Aug. 1943."-

Revealing in turn his DFM award as:
    Air Ministry, 23rd July, 1943
    Distinguished Flying Medal.
995674 Sergeant Martin Gerard McMANUS, No. 23 Squadron.

We have discussed the crash where P W Stokes DFC was killed before on the board

    http://www.rafcommands.com/forum/showthread.php?11599-430813-Unaccounted-airmen-13-8-1943

The No.60 ORB lists Stokes as present on the formation of the unit, posted to No.2 Sqn of No.60 OTU and has detachments to No.61 OTU for single engine training and CGS before his death.
