    Default Amf78

    Hello

I am not very familar with AMF78, and I'd like to know more about it looks like. Is it a name listing only with service numbers? Another point, as I am not able to go at the NAA, does anyone know if it is possible to order (I guess on paper or photocopies) a single page or a couple of pages only around a name?

    Thanks

    Phil

Do you mean Air Ministry Form 78 (aircraft history cards) or the National Archives reference AIR 78 (Index of airmen & airwomen).

If the later, the index lists non-commissioned personnel by surname, first name(s) with their service number. Occasionally some cards have a little more detail, such as date of birth or changes of name.

Take a look at the thread about people downloading AIR 78, http://www.rafcommands.com/forum/showthread.php?11685-Has-anyone-downloaded-the-whole-of-AIR78-Indexes
