    Default F/0 H.J. Bartley RCAF 128 SQn Sep 44

    Hello,

The above mentioned pilot was shot down on KB210 during the night of 16/17 Sep 44. If his navigator was killed (Sgt Hartley), nothing is told about Bartley's fate in BCL. Does anyone know what occurred to him? I know that he survived, but can't say whether he evaded capture or not.

    Thanks in advance

    Phil

Not in RAF Evaders by O. Clutton-Brock which does include Commands other than Bomber.

Christian names are Hugh John and he appears to have served in the postwar RCAF, but at this time I can offer no further details.
