    Hello again

    I've another short list of names that I'm trying to put details to, if anyone can help:

    BECK, Oswell, 524300, killed May 6 1940, no further information
    BRENNEN, William Edward, 867113 575 Sqn, killed August 5 1944, buried Ryes Cemetery, Bazenville, France
    BROWN, John Baldwin Foulger, 3040093, 55 Sqn, killed February 22 1945, buried Padua War Cemetery
    STOREY, James Henry, 1099164, 38 Sqn, killed July 3 1944, buried Leros War Cemetery, Greece
    TURNBULL, David Lester, 1304281, 213 Sqn, killed June 23 1942, buried El Alamein War Cemetery
    WOOD, William Eric, 1083974, 131 Sqn, killed December 1 1943, buried Alnwick Cemetery

    Cpl Brennen was one of 5 killed when Dakota FZ674 crashed ito the ground in zero visability in Northern France.
    The A/C was on the outward leg of a casualty evacuation sortie.

    ELLIOTT, Thomas Robert, 612405, 148 Sqn, killed October 5th 1942, commemorated on the El Alamein Memorial
    MILLS, David Kinnaird, 525767, 144 Sqn, killed August 7th 1940, buried Finningley
    MORTON, John William, 177198, killed June 13th 1944, buried Ashington
    RIDDELL, George Robert Sawhill, 1777038, killed November 21st 1943, commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial

    EDIT: more added today (Monday 17th):
    HERDMAN, Roy Metcalf, 1473480, 357 Sqn, killed September 7 1945, commemorated on the Singapore Memorial
    JOHNSTONE, John Emmanuel, 1683512, 38 Sqn, killed June 9 1945, buried Ancona Cemetery
    SMITH, Newton, 1676114, no unit known, killed September 3 1945, buried Bedlington, Northumberland

    Sgt DK Mills was one of four killed when Hampden L4187 crashed on a training exersice.

    Sgt TR Elliot was one of 6 killed when Wellington IC DV649 of 148 Sqn crashed on an op to Tobruk.
