Default Hurricane crash in Ryarsh, England, 7 September 1939

    Hello,

According to a local history, on 7 September 1939 a "Gravesend pilot" baled out over Ryarsh and the Hurricane crashed in the village. It was the first crash of the war in the area.

I have been unable to confirm this. If someone can find the serial of the aircraft and/or the name of the pilot, and confirm the date, it will be very helpful.

    Thanks in advance

    Laurent

You do realise you have posted this topic twice. Statistically you might find it has twice the chance of being seen but in reality I dont think you will get very many more people viewing either post. Could you possibly delete this one.
