Default P/O MACHELL, Edward Bousfield 164428

    Hello all

Can anyone give me any details for the loss of the above Pilot Officer, killed on May 19th 1944, and commemorated on the Ottawa Memorial.

His brother Eric Thomas Dods Machell was killed in Hudson N7361 of 269 Sqn in Trondheim on June 15th 1940.

    Many thanks.

    Hi Simon

He was killed whilst flying in Beechcraft, HB129 of No 32 OTU, which failed to return from a night navigation exercise.

    Simon,

For AUS430145 Sgt John Alexander FRASER RAAF, read AUS430145 Sgt Alexander John FRASER RAAF.

    Apologies, transposed the forenames.

    Col.
