    Default lancaster ed822 (156 squadron)

    Hi Everyone.
    I'm researching the raf service history of my uncle ( malcolm T T Hall) who was the Pilot of this aircraft , shot down on night of 29th/30th July 1943 near Heide.If anyone has any information, no matter how small i'd be extremely grateful to receive it

    Tony,
    Shot down by a night fighter and crashed Liebermoor near Braaken, south of Heide, Holstein, 1 km north-east of Hemmingstedt. Crew initially buried Hemmingstedt.
