Recovery of Allied aircraft by German recovery teams

I am researching the loss of a Halifax bomber MZ629 on 13 May 1944 south of Brussels and am looking for information on where to locate the reports of the German aircraft recovery teams, which I think were called Begungstrupps. Any assistance gratefully accepted.

Hello John,

Think the organisation you refer to was the Bergungskommando (rescue command) that operated over much of Europe retrieving both Allied and Axis aircraft. Many of the personnel were civilians from the occupied countries.
