Default Looking for christopher willcock, son of a RAF p51 pilot

    Good evening Gentlemen,

I am looking for a gentleman whose name is Christopher Willcock.

His father Anthony was a pilot on Mustang in RAF squadron 169 during WWII and he was killed in France on 6 August 1943, near Morlaix. Anthony was the son of Henry Bertram Willcock and Josephine Willcock.
Anthony married Ada B Robinson in 1940 in St Helens district and a son, Christopher K Willcock, was born in St Helens district in Q3 1941.

Christopher, was 6 months old when his father was killed and he would be around 68 now.
I could trace that he got married in 1968 in Hampstead with Ann Egelnick.

I would like to be in contact with him (or his children) to explain him that we found remains of his fatherís Mustang in Brittany.

For this reason, I am trying to trace Christopher Willcock (or his children), but I have not been successful so far.

Thanks in advance if anybody can help..

    Best regards

    GC

    Default Thanks, RAFCOMMANDFORUM !

    Gents,

I have to thank a thousand "RAFCommandforum".

I have found the son of Anthony Willcock (In fact, I was contacted by his daughter who had this thread):

he is 70, he lives in England, he is very interested and he will come to France soon to meet a local witness, and hopefully, he will be present for the installation of a memorial on site in memory of his father.

This will be certainly a very moving moment and I am grateful to RAFcommands forum for that.

    Best regards.

    GC
