    Default Master II, 4 july 1943, 5 (P) AFU

    Hi

    On 4 july 1943 the landing gear of a Master II collapsed. Posted to 5 (P) AFU does anybody know the serial of this a/c ?

    Bertrand,
    No Master loss of 5 (P)AFU on 4-7-1943; however have W8772 of 5 (P)AFU crashed 3-7-1943 in forced landing Edleston, near Nantwich, Cheshire. (Engine cut while low flying).

    Thanks for this Henk but info I have comes from RAF Form 5015 : Master II, Night, 4/7/43, undercarriage collapsed on landing, reparaible at unit, technical failure.
