Default Wojciech Klozinski, 54 Squadron, shot down 15 August 1940

Wojciech Klozinski, serving with 54 Squadron, flying Spitfires, was shot down on the morning of 15 August 1940 near RAF Hawkinge (probably by Adolf Galland).

A flight sergeant, he was badly injured. He returned to non-flying duties in 1942 and at the end of the war emigrated to Canada, where he changed his name to V.K. Stewart.

Does anyone have any sources for information on this member of "The Few" beyond that easily accessible from Google? Unfortunately, RAF records tended to mis-spell his surname, making it harder to locate information.

    thanks,
    David Isby
