    Please see interesting video record of the retrieval of a Hawker Hind-type biplane after crash into West Kirby Marine Lake,on the Wirral, at approx. 1min 50secs into the YouTube video on the site below:

    Force landed while lost at night in pool on promenade and later blown over. May 19, 1937 this ended its flying career and became 963M July 1937.

    Hi Paul, K File says FL on the promenade while lost at night in a pool at West Kirby, Wirral and later blown over 19/5/37 to 963M.
