    I wonder if anyone can provide details on the service history of this plane , which my father and the other crew died in on 31 July 1945 ? Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks

    Hi John,
    From AB Serials NA - NZ, this a/c is only listed to 81 OTU and was part of a batch of 263 Wellington Xs, delivered between 1944 and July 1945. Built by Vickers-Armstrong, Chester.

    Hi,
    This aircraft carried the letters 'EZ-H' at the time of it's accident with 81 OTU.
