Default Phot Req. Squadron Leader John Robert Pennington-Legh DFC and Bar #37826

    All

Does anyone have a photo of Squadron Leader John Robert Pennington-Legh DFC and Bar #37826

He was C/O of 175 Sqn during Dieppe and an ex Torpedo Pilot and was later an Instructor at Fighter Leader School at Millfield

I know there is a photo of him on Page 175 of

    Hi Paul,

I have a record of a Pennington-Legh as a First Officer in the A.T.A., sadly I have no forename. Wonder if this is the same chap?

    Jim,

Could you please provide details of your source for "a Pennington-Legh", serving as a First Officer in the ATA?

    Hi Col,

A Pennington-Legh is listed in the monthly returns of accidents which are held at the National Archives. He may have been seconded from the RAF for a spell.
