I am researching a Danish pilot that initially trained at the E.F.T.S. at Kallang in Singapore in the months before the Japanese invation.

From AIR 78, I yesterday discovered that he had as NCO the service number 772013, that is within the range "771500 to 773999 773209 Nov 1939 Enlistments in India". Until then I only had found his service number when commissioned.

Does the fact that the range is allotted to "emlistments in India" follow the command structure having RAF Singapore or at least in regards to trianing schools under India Command (Wavell)? Or would it be an indication of the pilot having been attached to the MVAF run E.F.T.S. in Singapore enlisting for RAF in India on the way to South Rhodesia where he trained at a S.F.T.S.

Any ideas?
