    Default Operatonal Training Units O.R.B.s

Do the Operation Record Books of O.T.U.s show the names of students posted in and posted out ? If they don't, what do they show concerning movements? I'm particularly interested in 19 O.T.U. Kinloss for Apr-Jun 1941. Thanks.

    Pot luck Norman,

Some contain full course lists along with service numbers and where posted in/to, some just course lists, some just a line to say No.X course has commenced and some nothing at all.

Some OBS have full lists for part of the document and nothing for the remainder of the book.

No real reason except some scribes/O.C. thought that it was noteworthy and some did not.

A similar siituation happen with course photos, some have fully named piccys instead of course lists, some have none.

    Regards
    Ross

I have a copy of 17 OTU's ORB and can confirm that - apart from deaths and the odd operational sortie - there is no mention of individual students.
