Default Frederick M Fuller RCAF 420 Squadron 1943-1945

    Hello all

Just asking if anyone has 420 Squadron ORB can you see if there is mention of the arrival of W/O AG F/Sgt Frederick Michael FULLER RCAF R92107 in October 1943. Later commishioned as J89619 and repatriated home on 6 Feb 1945.

I have extract of his service record but there is lilttle mention of his 420 Squadron time and I wondered if he wsas part of a regular crew in the Squadron.

He survived the crash of Boston BZ200 with RAF Ferry Command in Ireland in 1942.

    Thanks

Hello Dennis. He is part of the Ainslie crew flying Halifaxes from Tholthorpe. It is possible that he was transferred to 420 Sq in Oct 43 but during this period they were on their way back to the UK from the Med. I did not see the Ainslie crew fly any ops in the Med.

    Regards, Richard

I see that T E C Ainslie, was a higly decorated officer, I hope that our man Fuller was a help to him in this.
