A MOVING MEETING THANKS TO THIS FORUM :

Do you remember that I was looking for the son of RAF Mustang pilot who was killed in August 1943 in North Brittany ?

Thanks to a post in the present forum, I was able to find him: he came last month in Brittany to the exact place where his father was KIA.

He was there with his whole family (13 persons) and he met a witness aged 86 who was able to tell him what happened exactly.

Then, a ceremony took place in the nearby village with officials: A memorial was unveiled in front of him and it was a strong and moving moment.

This should be related in july "Flypast".
