    Default RCAF PILOT AT 53 OTU Info needed

    Hi , Please can anyone help with any details regarding P/O CLARKE WG ,J 5972 RCAF , Involved in a Prang at 53 OTU
    Llandow 27/8/41 , Spitfire X4474 ,U/C Collapsed on Landing .

    I AM seeking any service details prior to 53 OTU and after 53 OTU , even confirmation of this Name and service No ?the gen i have is a bit iffy

    Noticed that this name and service number have cropped up on a previous thread relating to a Wellington:

    J/5972 F/O (Capt./Pilot) William Garfield CLARK RCAF - Blown clear of aircraft, dangerously injured. Died of injuries 24-1-1943.

    Pete , Thank you for your prompt reply , interesting , i WILL Need to dig further on this One , if this is indeed my man then he went from Fighters to Bombers , ? i also note the spelling is different CLARK / CLARKE ?
