Default Fatal crash 25 October 1951

Anybody knows of any fatal crash on 25 October 1951? Trying to find the accident for a killed Polish airman.

The Times newspaper on 26 October 1951 reported two fatal RAF accidents occurring the previous day:

An RAF Spitfire on local flying from Middle Wallop airfield crashed in a copse at Hatts Farm, Semley, Wiltshire, after appearing to catch fire in the air. The pilot baled out but his parachute failed to open.

On 27 October The Times named Sgt R Sosnowski as the pilot.

The other RAF pilot was killed when a Meteor jet aircraft crashed near Watton, Norfolk.

On 27 October The Times named the pilot as being P/O C M Smail.

Guess the first one is your man.

    Yes, indeed, many thanks, Brian.
So it looks it was LF.XVI TE470 of Fighter Command Control & Reporting School which dived into ground 22m SW of Tisbury Wilts. Could anoyone add anything?
PS I have tried to check the Times archive, but could not get access without subscribing the title.

From Colin Cummings in his "Last Take-Off" volume of RAF aircraft losses:

    25 Oct 51, TE470, Spitfire F16, C & RS, South-west of Tisbury, Wiltshire
The pilot reported engine trouble and the aircraft was then seen diving steeply at about 1000 feet with the pilot falling alongside with a partly opened parachute. Unfortunately, the parachute did not develop fully and the pilot was killed when he struck the ground.
    Sergeant Rajmund Sosnowski 31.
