Default Beaufighter loss on 26 May 1942 (or 1941)

P/O Vincent George DESOURDY, J/6400 - RCAF, RP100 and Sgt Geoffrey Eric LEE, 922541, of 235 Sqn RAF are both commemorated on Runnymede Memorial with a loss date of 26 May 1942.

But a thread on this forum (http://www.rafcommands.com/forum/showthread.php?9029-May-1941) tells that they were lost on 26 May 1941 with Beaufighter T5133.

I would like to know the death date of these airmen, the serial of the Beaufighter if it is known and where it was lost.

    Thanks in advance

    Default why a new thread??

Laurent, it would make much more sense in future to post your query on the old thread rather than create a needless new one!

Malcolm has a typo in his old thread title, that is all, you can check all the other names on that thread are May 1942.

    Hello Dennis,

I did not think to check the other losses, so thought that the old thread was about several losses in May 1941, while my own was about only one Beaufighter loss in May 1942. So I created a new one. Sorry for that.
