    Hello,

    Discussed at another time, here:

    http://www.rafcommands.com/forum/showthread.php?5317-Botha-I-L6290-11-RS-27-5-1943

Research has moved on. Take a look here:

    http://www.awm.gov.au/catalogue/research_centre/pdf/rc09125z023_1.pdf

    See:p.62 of 508.

Riddled with errors! Will explain after you take a look.

    Hi Avril,

Corrections to Alan Storr's entry (pdf. p.62 of 508):

    1) No mention of the death of BAZIRE (from wounds or injuries) on 29-5-1943.
    2) Unit incorrect - should read No.11 Radio School.
    3) Location - HOOTAN PARK, should read; HOOTON PARK.
    4) County spelt incorrectly, should read CHESHIRE.
    5) Surname of BAZIRE, incorrectly spelt in crew listing.

    Col.

Hi Col, I have been looking through Johns' last diary entries, he mentions Chester and then a move to
Bobbington, but was delayed because "George Sharp was up". I am sure he died from injuries on the 29th May.
My late Mother-in-law visited him in Liverpool Hospital, she said another aircraft landed on them, but was
very unsure of what really happened, that is what has prompted me to see if this is corrected.
    Many thanks, Avril
