I've a few credits on Scotlandspeople so his death certificate states

    Ernest William MITCHELL
    Assistant Estate Duty Officer
    (Flying officer, Royal Air Force)
Died at Royal Infirmary, Aberdeen from natural causes, illness - I can only make out some of the medical terms but for the purposes of this forum, he did not die from an aircraft crash or similar.
His father was the person who registered the death but its not stated that he was present at the death.
