If you look at that page again Henk, F/O E W Mitchell is on the DOAS list, the heading is above the photo of

"Fit. Lt. J. A. Broadley who, at a recent investiture, received the D.S.O., D.F.C. and D.F.M."

I thought at first also that E W Mitchell was on teh Missing list but that batch of names continues on the top of that page.

Bain, rgistered in MILLON district, Cumberland AGED 32.
    Kirkpatrick, aged 27, Witney, Oxfordshire
Mahon, aged 28, Southwell district, Nottinghamshire
Mitchell, there is a 33 year old Ernest W Mitchell in Tiverton District, Devon, but there is also a 22 year old in Aberdeen district of Aberdeen in 1943. I'd guess the later might be our man.

Whyte aged 21 seems to be in Wenlock district, Shropshire

    Malcolm,
Thanks for info on BAIN. I had all other info on N9718 and casualties.
    Dennis,
Where could a fatal casualty for "Ashford ALG" have been registered ? Reason I ask is F/Lt Robert KIRKPATRICK was "KOAS" and the loss of Mustang AG522.

    Regards,
    Henk.

    Default Kent

It's in Kent as far as a quick Google tells me, it looks well within the county so doubt a casualty would be brought outside the area for immediate treatment.

    Henk
Kirkpatrick may be associated with the loss of Oxford EB695 '2m NE of Lechlade'. This would possibly put it in Oxfordshire, between Kelsmcott and Little Farringdon , both of which which arei n the Witney registration district.
