    Hi Henk,

    ORB says:

    26th
The death occurred today of Sgt D E Reddy, Bomb Aimer, who was injured in the accident to Stirling Mk I, W7455 on the 7th September 1943.

Chorley confirms details in entry for 7th.

    Regards
    Ross

    Henk,

Be very wary of Chorley's entry in BCL8/64.

The crew should look something like this:

136933 P/O (Capt./Pilot) Leslie Frederick SMITH DFC RAFVR
AUS420656 F/Sgt (2nd Pilot) Charles Kenneth GILKES RAAF
1693953 Sgt (Flt. Eng.) ? OULTON RAFVR
51873 P/O (Nav.) Norman Edward Reginald MILES RAF
AUS420596 Sgt (Air Bomber) Douglas Edward Lanyon REDDY RAAF
AUS415579 F/Sgt (W.Op./Air Gnr.) Gordon Raymond GREAVES RAAF
635578 Sgt (Air Gnr.) J M HARDMAN RAFVR
AUS434220 Sgt (Air Gnr.) Eric Vernon CRAMP RAAF

    See:
Intruders Over Britain:The Luftwaffe Night Fighter Offensive 1940-45.
    Parry,Simon.
    Surbiton:Air Research Pubs.,1967.
    pp.90-1 & 187.

l haven't added casualty status of various crew members.
