Default 87 Sqn Hurricane Loss July 17, 1939 - P/O Kenneth William Tait

P/O Kenneth William Tait a New Zealander in RAF #40441 baled out of a 87 Hurricane into the sea around 5 miles east of Walton-on-the-Naze, Essex on July 17, 1939. He was picked up by an R.A.F seaplane from Felixstowe around an hour later. The Clacton and Walton lifeboats were also launched.

Can anyone supply an Aircraft ID for the Hurricane?

    Thanks

    Paul
