Hall commissioned from W/O (1381763) to P/O (185234) London Gazette 3/11/1944. No mention in PoW list published by HMSO. No awards. Nothing in 'Aces' or 'Eagles'

    Hi Phill,

Plugging his name into Google (note: spelled variously with and without "p" in Thomson) brings up quite a few hits, including a post-war commission in the RAFVR (GD)

    ROYAL AIR FORCE VOLUNTEER RESERVE.
    (Reconstituted section.)
    GENERAL DUTIES BRANCH.
    Appointment to commission.
    As Flying Officers:—
    12th Nov. 1948.
    John Brodie Thompson HALL (185234).

Just in case you haven't done the obvious!

    Regards,

    Jeff
