    Hi
    May 28, 1956 crashed on takeoff from RAF Wahn stn WD734 Gloster Meteor 68 Sqn. Meteor was destroyed.
    You do not know the crew machine? Crew was injured?

    Pavel, a/c ran off the the end of the runway - no injuries reported.
    'Category Five' by Colin Cummings acknowledged.

    26/09/1955 accident Gloster Meteor T.Mk.VII (WH236) and Gloster Meteor NF.Mk.XI (WD682) 68 Sqn. Crew Meteor WH236 - pilot F / Lt Basil Appleyard (153.983) and nav. F / O Fred William Saunders (582.713). You know the crew: Meteor WD 682?
