Default Crashed Into Lake Ontario? - 13 September 1944

William Burt Naylor, RAFVR 1685780, died on 13 September 1944 and is buried in Brandon Cemetery, Manitoba. There is a note that he crashed into Lake Ontario, although this is somewhat distant from where he is buried.

Does anyone have any further detail?

    Many thanks

There are dozens of lakes within a few miles of Crawford Park, ranging from the big Clear Lake to tiny ponds. Sometimes the local have various names for the small ones, one of them may have been known as Lake Ontario.

(I spent many happy summers at Riding Mountain and Clear Lake as a child.)
