Info about crashed flight LL972 August 1944

My uncle Thomas George Nottingham 1576650 of 630 Squadron was killed when flight LL972 crashed on or about 16/8/44 on Operation Stettin. Looking for further information about the operation, why the plane crashed and any info on my Uncle.

The crew were posted in to 630 squadron in early May 1944. List of ops flown.......
