Hi Paul,
Yes it does list the the aircraft concerned, crashed on take off, flew into trees at Paxton. And now i'm going throughmy notes, because i helped a relative of one of this crew some time ago.
Alan
Does this book list details of aircraft lost in the UK?
I'm looking at PB366-Lancaster of 35 squadron lost just after take off 24/12/1944.
Help appreciated.

Thanks for response, Alan, I think I have established with reasonable certainty that FIDO was operational on take off. I live about 2 miles from crash site and have traced some youngsters (at the time) who remember the incident. I hope to get more from them!I think you have my mail address if anything interesting comes up in your notes.
