Default BCL look ups for 76 Sqn 2-3 June 1944

Could someone with access to BCL Vol 4 please tell me the crash locations and if given, how they were shot down for the following two 76 Sqn aircraft:

2-3 Jun 1944. Halifax III. LK783. Call sign MP-C. All crew lost, buried at Dreux.
2-3 Jun 1944. Halifax III. LK784. Call sign MP-D. All crew lost, buried at Dreux

(I already have the crew details)

    Thank you
    Norman

    Hi Norman,

According to Theo Boiten's NJG War Diaries Vol II LK784 could have been shot down by Oblt Ernst-Georg Drunkler of 1./NJG5 for his 12 victory he would finish the war with 44 night victories and 1 day victory. LK783 was most likley shot down by Lt Frithjof Fensch of 4./NJG4 for his first of 12/13 victories before he was wounded on the night of 25/26 November 1944 near Duisburg and bailed out and was injured after an air combat.

    I hope that helps.

    Regards,

    John.

    Thank you John,
The information you supplied was most interesting. Does it come from Theos latest book? I recall speaking with him about MZ604, MP-W which was also lost that night.
