Default Roy Nixon - No. 5 Air Observer School - 1944

No. His Air Force No. was R197295 Sergeant-Pilot. Royal Canadian Air Force. He was in Winnipeg.

Does anyone here remember my father?

    Hi Steve,

i think we have very few veterans on the forum but one never knows.

Do you have your fathers service record from the Library and Archives Canada?

Did he get posted elsewhere after the AOS? or was he still there when war ended? Have you any other units he served in?

I noticed that there was and entry from a Roy Nixon elsewhere in the forum asking about my Father is this the same Roy Nixon that you are referring to? My father used to live in Winnipeg.

    Default Roy Nixon

    G'day

Roy was involved in a flying accident near Vulcan, Alberta on the 15th of November, 1943. Would you like me to post the details?

    Cheers...Chris

    Hello all,
I have kept out of this tread as my name is also Roy Nixon and yes I do appear at times on this wonderful forum, but sadly have no information on the original Roy.
